SMU is set to compete in its third meet of the indoor season as the Mustangs travel to Lubbock, Texas on Friday and Saturday to compete in the Red Raider Invitational hosted by Texas Tech. SMU dominated this meet a season ago as the Mustangs were led by now graduated-senior Mary Alenbratt as she won both the one mile run and the 3000-meter run. In addition, four other Mustangs finished in the top 10 of the mile including, Karoline Skatteboe (second), Shanoah Souza (fifth) and Caitlin Keen (ninth). The Ponies were led by junior Rayann Chin in the weight throw as she placed first with a distance of 17.75 meters. In the sprints, Stephanie Kalu placed second in the 55-meter dash, posting a time of 6.89. SMU will look to have even more success at this year's meet.
